Amy Deane
Assistant Principal - Inclusion / SENCO
Amy was previously Curriculum Leader for English at St Helens College. She studied BA French and German at the University of Liverpool before completing a masters’ degree in English Language at Lancaster University. Our SENDCO and Assistant Principal for Inclusion, Amy achieved the National Award in Special Educational Needs Coordination in 2017. She is responsible for overseeing additional learning support in college, leading on the student bursary, and overseeing GCSE English and maths courses. Amy is also Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. Amy teaches GCSE English Language and she loves finding ways to capitalise on students’ creativity in her English classes through collaboration with the creative department staff.
